Not sure how/if should stop taking cyclizine

Can't find any info online and can never get gp appointment. I've been taking cyclizine for morning sickness for a few months. I stopped once and the sickness came back so kept taking it as midwife said it was fine. I have been fine now and I'm down to two tablets aday. I'm nervous about stopping then in case sickness returns (I'm 29 weeks maybe it won't) and I'm unsure if you can just stop as read about withdrawal symptoms online. Any advice welcome plenty of info about taking it nothing about when to stop.

Hi Jen,

Glad you're feeling better now (phew!). I would suggest speaking to a local Pharmacist and explain to them you can't reach your GP for clinical advice. They will be able to tell you whether it's safe or not to stop your meds abruptly.

Hey there 😊 I just stopped taking mine with no side effects I stopped at about 4 months I think. I still get the odd spell of sickness but nothing like the first few months 😊

I dropped down from 3 to 2 then 1 and then tried 0 with a view to see how I felt. They can be taken long term according to my doctor, but I found after 16 weeks I didn't need them anymore, but kept them handy in my bag for a good while after just in case!
