Babies tooth poking through

My little boy has been teething for a while and I can now feel the start of a tooth poking through, how long does it usually take for the whole tooth to come through

All babies are different, but my daughters started with the swelling of the gum, slit in the gum , then a peak of the tooth within a few days (note her irritability stopped at this point), then over the course of a week it became more visible. The other tooth followed suit and then they grew together. All in all for both bottom teeth took 2 months.
