Hi, I'm taking my 11month old on a long haul flight next month and wondered if anyone has any advice or tips to help with their ear pressure they feel when higher up in the altitude please? Has anyone tried anything that worked thanks in advance

Ear pressure relief for a baby from flying
Hey there, a dummy works well if they have one or I’d advise milk/drink in a bottle or sippee cup during take off/landing. Or BF if appropriate.Hope that helps.
Thank you will use the dummy as baby takes it for sleep so will use in flight . No longer drinks milk so stick to dummy
If the baby doesn't drink milk anymore but you see that the dummy is not enough give water to sip, with my baby it worked well, it was a short flight, so milk at take off and a bit of water when landing. Have a safe flight!
Water through a normal drinking beaker they use as they need to suck? Or a cup thanks in advance
I went with a drinking beaker. That one time she was pretty upset as the plane was descending. The dummy wouldn't calm her down but sipping from the bottle did the trick. Otherwise never had any issues with her flying (she's almost 9 months and already took 4 flights as we live abroad and wanted to visit family)
Dummy will work well. Saying that children don't seem to struggle as much on the plane. None of my three ever had issues. I never had issues as a child but only since I got old 😂
