Cinema with a baby
You would need to check with the cinema, a few have a no babes in arms policy. Some cinemas do run shows for families where babies are welcome and they reduce the noise so it's not harmful to little ears.
My friend used to take her foster babies to the cinema usually they would sleep through. I personally wouldn’t just incase baby kicked off crying lol
Well that’s what I’m worried about, but they do screenings just for parents and babies, so they know the outcome may be baby cry’s lol x
If you're going to a screening for parents and babies you'll be fine. It's a bit chaotic but everyone is in the same boat. You can breastfeed etc and not worry about disturbing anyone. The volume will be lower and they might have a dim light on.
I've been to a few non baby showing that were more manic to be fair...kids up and down for loo breaks every 5 mins. Worked for me and my Tony bladder though!
I am going to try it when my baby is born, as never got to with my last but I think its a really good idea to have baby screenings, gives you a nice break watch a film.
I went to a baby and parent screening last week with my 4 week old- I really enjoyed it as was a good thing to get out of the house for, I didn’t worry about baby crying (as everyone in same boat!) and could Bf as felt comfortable in the dark. Would definitely recommend it xx
I went every week to the baby Cinema when I was on maternity leave. It was my favourite thing to do and I miss it now am back at work. I would really recommend it. My son got really used to it and I even took him to a general screening at 10 months and he was no bother at all. Am looking forward to taking him again when he is old enough xx
