Anyone who has had OC?

I'm 37+weeks pregnant and I've been feeling extremely itchy all over my body not much on the palms and soles of my feet. Should I be worried ? Can it be OC?

You should probably contact your midwife straight away and arrange to be checked as if it is OC its very important to get it diagnosed and treated, hope all is ok

Do you have a rash as well as being itchy? I got PUPPS in my first pregnancy which was extremely itchy but not in any way dangerous. You need to be checked by a midwife though to make sure its not something serious.

Hi when I was fell pregnant no symptoms nothing then I hit the 37 weeks mark I started to itch all over they checked me to make sure my system was disposing waste alright and not leaving some behind and they they gave me a cooling cream to use and after I gave birth it was all gone no itching nothing

I had it without itching on the palms and fit. I had pretty extreme itching on my belly which the midwife and doctors kept saying was just due to stretching. However I couldn't even bare anything touching it and was moisturising all the time even through the night which didnt help at all. I got them to do the blood test as they were doing extra bloods anyway.

In the end it was one of the reasons I had an early induction.

I had OC. Diagnosed at 32 weeks. Sounds like What I had. Defo get in touch with midwife for blood tests. Results came back in a day for me and I was out on medication.

Depending on severity they do t usually let you go past 38 weeks. That’s when I was induced.

I was put on piriton too which helped while the urso got to work.
