This isn’t exactly pregnancy related but I wondered if anyone else has been in a similar position and could inform me of what happens re maternity pay if you have two jobs?
I have two jobs which I’m employed for in both (not self employed), I’ve already sent off my MatB1 form for my primary job which I do the most hours for and think I qualify for the full SMP from them alone.
Does that then mean I can’t qualify for another set of SMP from my other employers? So if I get one set of SMP, that then automatically makes the other one redundant meaning I can’t get two sets of SMP? Hope that makes sense!! I think I can already assume the answer, but just wanted some clarity on it.
Thanks in advance!

I had received SMP from both employers, you have to earn over a certain amount to qualify I think its around £140 a week but should be on the Gov website x
Thanks Natasha - I’ve looked on gov website and I would qualify for SMP from both because I earn enough, I just wasn’t sure if I could apply for two sets of SMP at the same time from both of them. It wasn’t very clear on there xx
