Hii As the title says, I found out I was pregnant roughly 5 days before period was due, 2 days later the brown discharge started literally only when I wiped? I rang my early pregnancy unit as I have full access since I have previously had an eptopic pregnancy and I also have suffered recurrent miscarriages (I’ve been ttc for 3 years) anyways with all my other miscarriages I’ve always usually had a bit of brown discharge and then gone into full blown bleeding?? But this discharge is literally only there when I’m more active?? The it comes more but never enough to fill a panty liner?? I had bloods on Saturday which came back 243hcg and then again on Monday which came back 477hcg and the hospital said that it was a 98% rise! They have also booked me a scan on Friday aswell to make sure it’s not another eptopic 🤞🏻 I’m just basically wondering if anyone else has experienced this and sorry for the big write up I’m just worried x

4 weeks 3 days pregnant and brown discharge??
Could it be implantation bleeding?
Hi, it’s hard to know without a scan. Sometimes implantation can cause a small hematoma that can continue to bleed a little on and off for a few days. I had something similar and all was fine. I hope all is well when you have your scans! Try not to worry too much at this stage, in early pregnancy there’s a lot of variation of normal.
I had brown discharge for quite a while on and off for about the first 9 weeks of my pregnancy, everything was completely fine, I’m now nearly 27 weeks pregnant, I was told by multiple midwifes and doctors that brown discharge is very very common in the early stages as it’s normally old blood being flushed out of the body. Unless it turns to fresh red blood and you get some pain then it’s normally nothing to worry about, so fingers crossed for you it’s the same. The sooner you can get the scan the sooner you’ll find out, if you say it’s more when your active then try and rest up a bit more (that’s what I did) I know how hard it is not to worry especially when you’ve been ttc for such a long time, my and my partner were trying for 2 years so the first trimester was nothing but worry and anxiety for me (in fact I’m still the same now and I’m nearly in my third trimester) but try and relax. Hope all goes well for you and baby 🤞🤞❤️ xx
