How to get 3yo with temp to drink?

Any ideas how to persuade sick daughter to drink? She’s three years old and running a fever with no other symptoms so just letting it run it’s course. But she’s refusing to drink I’ve managed to get her to take a tiny bit of water all day and even tried offering an electrolyte type drink which she usually begs my husband for a sip of and even that she won’t have. She says she’s not feeling pain anywhere but maybe a bladder infection? She hasn’t had a wee since first thing

Try different fluids. Ask her what she wants. Try using a syringe/favourite cup etc. Get her temp down with some Calpol or brufen and that will help.

If she doesn't drink she won't wee. If she's not seeing for several hours you need to get her medical attention.

Make sure you get her tested for covid too since she's got a fever.

Have you tried ice lollies? Good for getting fever down and it's fluid.
