Morning all. I have had period pains for 2 days now. Last night kept me awake most of the night, today does not feel as bad but ache in bottom of back and feel so sick . Would you say baby is getting ready or could this go on for weeks

Could be either, possibly Braxton Hicks. If the pain continues maybe call your midwife.

This can definitely happen for weeks. I had this from 35 weeks right up until I was induced at 41+6. Could also be a sign labour isn’t far off. Could go either way. Never hurts to contact midwife and see what they think. 😊
