Correct. Even my three local hospitals have different rules. Partner is due to miss 12 week scan 😢

It’s a bit daft really anyway cause surley partners live in same house I don’t know about all couples but thought most people do that’s understandable if they don’t but if you live together you should be allowed we did a early private scan as partner not allowed 12 week but is 20 week

Signed and shared on social media. I hope changes come into place soon!!

Signed. My husband isn’t allowed to the dating scan which is estimated to be 14 weeks 😬 yet he’s allowed to attend the 20 week scan. I would prefer he was allowed to attend the first scan as I am nervous 😟 xx.

I did consider it but private scans aren’t allowing children. We have a 15 month old daughter & she has only ever been with me or my husband. Our nearest private scan is 50 miles away from not really do able 😬 I’ll just have wait for the nhs one 😟 thanks for the suggestion wish we could xxx

I had my dating scan yesterday. I was initially told in my appointment letter that my partner wouldn’t be able to attend, but I told him to come along and wait in the car just in case. When it was time for my scan the midwife asked if my partner was here and that he could come in for the scan but had to leave straight after. It was wonderful. So I think things are starting to change, albeit slowly.

Signed! Currently still not being allowed partner for my growth scans. Bit annoying as might be told I need to be induced at the next one 😭
