No screening test result yet

Hi all

I have my 12 week screening test on 7 August

I haven’t received any phone call so I’m assuming it’s low risk but Still I want to see the test result with the statistic number

It’s over 2 weeks now since the test, should I call the midwife centre and try to find out?

I had my scan last week and got a letter through the post yesterday for the low result with the stats, if it’s been a fortnight I wouldn’t worry about a high result but I’d definitely chase this xx

Thanks. I just called the hospital and they said they sent it 2 weeks ago. It’s likely lost somewhere.... 🤦🏻‍♀️

Post has been slower with covid so it might not have come through yet. Are you due your 16 week appointment soon? Could ask midwife to look into it, they could recalculate it as it's based on the blood test result and NT measurement on your scan.

They said the letter was sent 2 weeks ago and I received another letter in time so I think it’s lost. They somehow didn’t get my bloodtype test result so I need to go to hospital for the blood test again so I’m gonna ask a copy of it. I just wish they adopt some modern technology such as Emails

I had my scan a week ago and they said they would call me within 2-3 days if it was high risk. If it was low risk I wouldn’t hear from them so have seen it as no news is good news. Think they are pretty stretched at the moment due to covid but I will ask my midwife at my 18 week appointment.

I am in the same situation, I had my 12 week scan on the 6th of August and I haven't heard from them yet, neither by post. But I think they said that they would have called only if something was wrong otherwise I would have spoken with my midwife at the 16 weeks app. I am assuming it was low risk but perhaps I should give them a call too.

I called them and i was told i was low risk. As the threshold for the positive result is 1:150 at nhs which is lower than my home country which is 1:250 so I wanted to see the actual result with the numbers. Seems like I have to go to hospital for a copy
