It should be in your maternity policy that you have to tell them by a certain time

My employer needs to know by 25 weeks the latest as per maternity policy . However due to covid I told them when I was 8 weeks, this time, previously at 12 weeks.

Check your maternity policy. Only downside of you don't tell them they can not do a risk assessment and amend anything needed.

As for how far you are... You will have to give them an idea of babys due date (as they need to.plan their workforce) and it will be written on your matb1 form given to you by the midwife to give to work.

Going on your previous posts have you found out you are even pregnant yet, maybe best to get a definitive answer before worrying about telling an employer? Most people like to inform people after 12 week scan but you don't actually have to inform your employer until later, but I wouldnt worry they cannot discriminate against you for being pregnant
