Potty training....update!

Hi all, so I posted just over a week ago to say that we had started potty training our 3.5yr old son but he was struggling and having lots of accidents. We were feeling really defeated as no amount of stickers or praise was helping plus my boy is super stubborn. We were ready to give up but after lovely advice from this forum and the fact he starts school in September we persevered.

Well......just over a week later and he’s doing brilliantly!! He’s comfortable with sitting in the toilet and can tell us when he needs to go. Still a couple of accidents here and there but huge progress! We’ve still a way to go on number 2’s but we’re getting closer!

Oh and I forgot to mention that from night 1 of taking away his daytime nappy pants he’s been completely dry over night! How strange, I never expected that.

Well done thats great news...yes nappy pants our nursery told us once potty training take them away as they ate just confusing for the little ones!!but doing great...bet you feel a bit more relieved!x
