Morning all can someone tell me what happens a at the first scam please mines end of July I’m so nervous and can partners come ?

me too want to knw.. i just got booked midwife telephonic appointment mid july!

Partners aren’t allowed to come with you at the moment unfortunately but the midwives are amazing at easing your nerves!

The 12 week scan is to check the heartbeat, measure the baby to confirm your due date and measure the fluid behind babies neck. If you opt into screening then they will also take a blood sample.

Lots of private scan places are still open and letting partners in so you can always book one of those before hand to help with the nerves, that’s what I did xxx

My partner was allowed to be there for the 12 and 20 week scan during Covid-19 (although I did go on my own for the 12 week scan as we had no one to look after our 6 year old) I think it depends on your hospital, maybe have a look on their website or drop them an email to double check. You will have your height and weight done, your scan and then finally some blood taken.
