Fetus size is small

So not a good news , went for a 12 week scan , there is a sac, but the size of fetus is small like a 6 week fetus, so doctor said it is a sign of early pregnancy or a missed miscarriage, i would know next week , what are the next steps , anyone who has faced this , tell me if there is still hope

I'm sorry you're facing this! I haven't experienced it so I'm sorry I can't give any positive news but I hope everything will be ok. Fingers crossed for you no matter what happens x
