Hi ladies... just wondered if anyone menstrual cycles have changed during lockdown. Mine were always regular 26-28 days but the last 2/3 periods have come every 3 weeks and maybe less? Should I be concerned? I’m 34 turning 35 soon... is my cycle just changing or does lock down play a huge part?

Yeah. Really weird but I’m guessing it’s down to stress. Since stopping the pill last August I was around 30/31 days and then from March it’s been 36 days xx

Funny isn’t it.... I was a bit worried but have read a few articles on how lock down is affecting our menstruals xx
I’ve noticed mine have been so much heavier during lockdown and my symptoms like fatigue and exhaustion are through the roof despite literally doing nothing xxx
More stress due to lockdown can play a role, less movement definitely plays a role on period flow and intensity of pain, less or less frequent going out in the sun definitely plays a role on mood... Some say diet also has an effect. For me, I've been stretching more and as a consequence I have less intense pain, and I am rather regular as always, but I notice that if I have an otherwise stressful month I go down from my usual 26-27d to 23d, like this time around, while usually I never go under 25d. I am 36 and also wondered if my cycle was chainging, but fertility doesn't drop around our age as sharply as is said!
