The NHS website has a video which shows you how to bath a baby and the Johnsons website has some good massage tips. I would recommend doing the NCT course, we did as we don’t have any family nearby and it was really valuable, it’s great to meet other parents expecting around the same time as you! Otherwise midwives are amazing - make a list of questions for your midwife!

I don’t live in the UK so am unsure about where else you could go, but just wanted to tell you that you will figure it out and you’ll be fine! Do you know anybody with children who you could have a chat with?

I went to baby massage classes when my son was around 2 months old, not all parents do it but it’s become more of a trend. For me it was helpful as the leader spoke a lot about babies and bringing up children. It was interesting for me, my baby didn’t enjoy the classes though and just cried the whole time.

It’s great that you are preparing yourself and looking for support.

We got the shnuggle bath, available on Amazon. We found that you could easily bath baby in it without having to use hands to hold her up, we still use ours at 10 months and baby loves being in it.

If you google baby sensory, they do an online massage course once baby is here that you do over zoom. By the time your baby arrives they may be doing face to face classes. I never did a baby massage course but after her bath I would use some child's farm baby moisturiser and gently rub that on her. We didn't seem to have any real need for a massage course, I think they're lovely to do but not essential if you struggle to find a class.

Also your local maternity unit might provide some massage classes ours did so they were free but I never managed to get onto the course as it was all booked up.

Hi Teddy, baby massage therapists have just been given the go ahead to offer online courses so could you take a look here northcotebaby.com/

It no longer matters if you are local or not - I'm based in SW London
