Hi, I am looking for alternative shampoo, hair conditioner, face cleanser, moisturiser, foundation which are safe for pregnancy. Any particular brands/products recommended? Is rosehip oil safe? Thanks everyone.

Products safe for pregnancy
Are you from the UK?
La Roche-Posay Toleriane Sensitive Rich Moisturiser for sensitive skin which can also be applied on your baby’s skin. Also products of The Ordinary brand.
You don't really absorb enough of any products to worry about changing from your normal brands especially if you're in the UK anything you buy in a supermarket is going to be fine. I think there are some essential oils they say not to use but you can Google which ones not too use.
I am avoiding parabens and phthalates. I use palmers shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser, some Neals Yard products and Clinique.
Aveda have some hair products that are considered free from ‘nasties’. Their website gives some info (I think the Q&A section was where I found it).
Weleda organic skin care products (market yes for babies) work very well for adults too. I’ve used the nappy cream on chaffing under my nose (from blowing it too many times/using tissues) and it worked a treat!
Almond oil is great for sensitive skin (could replace your moisturiser) and can be used later in pregnancy for perineal massage too! Bonus!
I second Aveda - their stuff is lovely. I also use Faith in Nature which is very nice and Sukin conditioner.
I did read that you should ditch the standard deodorants because of the aluminium they use. I’ve switched to Salt of the Earth and Malin and Goetz.
Burts Bees, Neals Yard, Honest and Palmers are all nasty free. There is an app called Think Dirty which is good to check how ‘clean’ your products are. The hardest change I have found is deodorant, I’m yet to find a good one.xxx
I’d say Weleda, Avalon Organics, Avene
I use Noughty haircare products for pregnancy and while breastfeeding, it's free from parabens, petrochemicals, sulphates and silicones. For body wash I use sanex zero and for deodorant I use biosen roll on. I think the most important thing is just to avoid anything fumy, don't spend too much time in the hair dressers. Although honestly it's likely that none of this will make any difference.
I just used normal products.... the only thing I changed was my shower gel I started using dove or Nivea x
Hi, in theory everything in body shop should be safe unless stated otherwise. That's according to their website. I used to buy from them during pregnancy do didn't have to check every ingredient.
It's not entirely true you don't need to avoid any product as you definitely need to avoid vitamin a hence any product with retinol or retin-a.
Baby centre had a good article on beauty products safety if you want to google it.
Thanks everyone for your advice. I will have a look at these products. Have a nice day to all x
