Clarence Court Eggs: safe to eat in pregnancy?

I have been treating myself to Clarence Court Burford Brown hens eggs for a few months. I’m now 10+1 weeks pregnant and am worried that I shouldn’t be eating these eggs as they are not Red Lion stamped, but are UK-farmed and high welfare. Does anybody know if these hens are vaccinated against Salmonella/ safe to eat in pregnancy?

I can't answer if they are vaccinated, but until you find out they should be fine if you follow the old advice about eggs- which was to make sure your not eating them with a runny yolk xx

Congratulations by the way 😊 xx

You should be fine eating any eggs if well cooked and even then the worry is getting salmonella which you'd normally get symptoms of so I wouldn't worry about it

As long as they have the stamp on them they should be fine

The NHS says only the stamped eggs are certified salmonella free. If you are having them runny I would contact them directly and find out. I’m sure they’re fine but it’s best to make sure x

I've been eating these too, didn't notice they weren't lion stamped until late on. I've never eaten them runny but swapped to lion stamp when I noticed. I'm 9months pregnant x

They would wouldn't they!

Sounds like they are from the response above. I had similar with daylesford organic eggs- they replied that their hens are vaccinated so are safe to eat. The lion mark is not government regulated so there are other schemes which do the same.
