I'm currently 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Since i found out i've had severe period type pains ( i have bad endo, so get a lot of endo pain anyway), and have been light spotting for a week. Anyway, for the past few days my pain stopped and spotting stopped. I have really bad nausea, and other pregnancy symptoms. Today, i was sitting down and felt a warm sensation, i felt a gush of warm fluid come out (Sorry, tmi). I went to the bathroom and saw bright red blood. Lots of it. Made my way instantly to A&E, and got an abdominal scan. It was super quick. I was told everything looked fine, there was a heartbeat, and thats it. Was told to be on my way. I will be calling my clinic to see if they can investigate as i've been worried sick. It was a relief to see a heartbeat, but what does this mean? Do i have a higher chance of miscarriage? Where on earth is this bleeding coming from? After the 'gushing' incident, it almost stopped immediately. I've had very light brown spotting since, that seems like it's coming to an end. I've got mild cramping too.
Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks in advance. Just so worried! x

Yes it is an IVF pregnancy. I have Endo too. I have a scan next week with my clinic. Although seeing the heartbeat was very reassuring, still can't help but worry. I've been spotting, but seeing bright red blood freaked me out. I haven't had it since, so i guess that's reassuring too x
Hey I had blood from about 3 weeks pregnant till 8 weeks and few more times after that some brown some bright red baby is now 12 weeks old and all is well . Sometimes doing to much can irritate ur cervix and it bleeds a little . I had 3 scans at beginning and was told i was possibly gonna loose him but he's here. It was just too early in pregnancy . If ur worries ask for blood test to check ur levels they do 3 over 6 days and check ur rising levels. Dont stress and uve seen babys heartbeat my first scan they just about seen fetal pole second time it was bigger 3rd time heartbeat and everything . Wish u all the best xx
Thank you for sharing your experience. It's been really helpful and reassuring. I've had spotting from about 4 weeks, but the bright red blood freaked me out. Apparently it's not normal but quite common to have bleeding during early pregnancy, but one can't help but worry! I'm so pleased to read that it all worked for you. Hoping the same for me xx
