What’s wrong with my bruised toenail

Ok so I have bruised toe and I have had it for a while and there’s this grey thing on the bruise and I don’t know what it means can anyone figure out what’s happening

Is it something that's happened since your pregnancy? If you're pregnant and haven't injured your foot but this bruise has just come up, maybe call your midwife or show it to her at your next appointment and get it checked out.

No I’m 14 and this happened when I was in gym where my foot got caught between metal

Like that happened About a few moths ago

Have a chat with your mum or dad about it. I expect it's just a bruise that will grow out as your nail grows out.

We're not doctors on here, think maybe you've got the wrong forum? This is the national childbirth Trust forum, no one on here knows about toenails. Best speak to your parents and see if they think you need to see a doctor.

Please see a doctor. It could be just a bruise and am sure it is but it could be something else too. it's possible to get melanoma on the feet and toenails. Don't ignore it, always worth a visit to double check x
