Hi all, I’ve just a week ago found out I am pregnant! Amazing news after trying for so long! I am 5 weeks 4 days. However last night I had some bleeding but no pain and only happened once.. this morning I have started bleeding again but have got cramps with it too like a period pain cramp... I am ringing my g.p as soon as it opens to see if I can get booked in for a scan... what I want to know have any of you had this and the baby is fine??
Please advise needed! Going out of my mind!!
This is so strange as I am also 5 weeks 4 days and started bleeding yesterday too!! Mine is like a brown colour but isn’t a lot, more like spotting. I called the emergency midwife and they have booked me in for a scan tomorrow. I would recommend doing the same given you cramps too. I’ve had cramps on and off for about 3 weeks so nothing new there for me, just the spotting. Hoping everything is ok x
Thank you for replying! Wow yes that’s strange! Mines more than spotting, saw my doctor but the EPU wouldn’t book me in for a scan until Wednesday... have had bloods taken and will have them repeated Wednesday too in the hope I get increased hcg levels.... just been told to rest and try to stay relaxed (I’m not sure how relaxed I can possibly feel right now) I keep everything crossed for you, I feel yours definitely sounds more implantation? Hope all is well for you! Keep me posted if you don’t mind? I’ll be Thinking of you! X
I’m hoping everything is ok for you and your HCG levels increase too. Mine could be implantation I guess but I had one day of that a day or 2 before my period was due so put that down to that so I wasn’t sure if you can still get implantation bleeding again a couple of weeks later? Oh well I’ll find out more tomorrow and the scan and I’ll let you know. I feel so clueless as this is my first pregnancy and my first midwife appointment isn’t until 3 December so just having to get info of the internet or in a book!! I hope it all goes ok for you. I had this quite a bit until I was 12 weeks, I panicked and got checked over but little one is here all safe and sound now he's one month old. Wishing you all the best! Keep me posted please! :).

I’ve just had a scan and everything appears to be absolutely fine. Said it could have just been more implantation or where the yolk sac has knocked a bit of old blood. Going back in 2 weeks for another scan just to check for a heartbeat as too early to detect yet. Feeling reassured x

Hope everything went well? I had 4 bleeds with my little girl before 12 weeks i was absolutely terrified every time it happened. I went to my doctor and demanded a scan and I got one the next day. Dont think its fair they make you wait, I know you cant change the outcome but its easier said than done trying to relax I was mess. Your not alone! xx
