When will I have my first scan?

I had my first doctors appointment after find out I’m pregnant last week and we have worked out I’m 10 weeks gone. I have a midwife appointment next Tuesday but I just want to know when I will be due for a scan and when can I tell everyone

First scan is between 12-14 weeks. Your midwife may have started the process for you but I saw my midwife at 10 weeks and she requested it that day and then I was seen at 12+4 for the scan

If you work it’s better to inform them now if you some heavy things or long hours.but some people thing it’s good to say after 3 month.you will have you first appointment with midwife in your hospital and they will take your basic information name adress such as and about your family history.they will ask you urine sample and will take some blood sample to do some checkup.your first scan will be between 11-14 week.its just a altra sound scan and you can see your baby and can listen it’s heartbeat.they will measure your baby’s health and let you know if there is any more to do.
