Back ache
This was also the case for me! I've suffered with an on/off bad back prior to becoming pregnant but it got worse during my pregnancy. By week 28 it developed to sciatica! I bought a pregnancy support belt but that was only useful late on into my pregnancy because that's when they are supposed to be used. As boring as it sounds you just need to avoid heavy lifting and rest as much as you can. I was told to take paracetamol as much as I could as well but I avoided this as I didnt like the thought of taking it constantly when pregnant. I hope it gets better for you x
Im 28 weeks and getting more back ache so mentioned this to my midwife and have been referred to the physio where they do a pregnancy class then a 121 session. It's not till next week so unsure what they'll advise but its worth you mentioning to your midwife to see if you can access any physio support. When mine is really bad the only thing that seems to relieve it is having a relaxing warm bath. Others recomend hot water bottles/heat pads as well. Good luck x
Hi.
I am 21 weeks now. I started to get backache earlier on as well. Have to admit I have gained a bit of weight extra as was feeling very hungry. So my back pain could of been because of weight gain. I started swimming and antenatal Pilates and went for massage and to chiropractic when was worse pain. Exercising has helped massively. My back pack has reduced a lot.
Hope you will find something that works for you. x
