Back too work
Following am having this problem to. Do they get in touch or do I have to? I don’t want to go back 😩😭 xx
My work got in touch with me at around 6 months. I got back to them with what hours I wanted to work and she then came back when it was ok’d then worked out the holiday I accrued so in the end had nearly a year off. No harm in starting the process whenever you want really x
Also I think if you want to change your return date you have to give 8 weeks notice x
I never told them a return date 😂😂
Neither did I. You don’t legally have to but I think they presume your return date would be after the whole year as that’s what we are entitled to whether it’s paid or not. So if you wanted to go back earlier you have to tell them 8 weeks before xx
I just think if I don’t contact them there forget about me 😂😂 it has gone so quick 😭 they grow so fast and am going to use my holiday to 😬 I also want to change my times there gonna love me 😂🤦🏼♀️ xx
I was told to let them know 8 weeks before my desired start time xx
When are due back?x
End of November, maternity leave finishes x
I think it’s 8 weeks but if you need to make changes to working days/hours you need to submit s flexible working request 12 weeks before xx are you going back full time? What will you do with childcare? I’m thinking about all these things as the moment too x
I think you need to give them 8 weeks notice...
I also think it’s 8 weeks notice, I’d make sure that you contact them as well. Especially if that’s your paid maternity leave up rather than the year, most companies (from what I’ve heard) will assume that you will take the full year, as apposed to the nine months
