No poo for 9 days

Hello everyone, my LO is 20 weeks old. She last had a bowel movement last Tuesday, normal amount of wet nappies. She seems well in herself, no change there and is feeding fine. She does pass wind often, just no poo. She is breastfed and was just wondering if this is normal.

My hv told me they worry at about 10 days. I personally would call for advise or speak to a pharmacist for advise.

Yea that's what I was told by HV today as well. But she said she wasn't worried just to get her checked to cover herself

My friends little girl went 12 days without a poop when she was exclusively breast fed. However on day 12 she said was epic, so be prepared 😉

How did it come along? Our LO has gone 14 days with a poop but lots of wet nappies and very smelly trumps!

HV is going to visit next week.

She went on the 11th day and it wasn't as bad. It seems breastfed babies can go for ages without pooing. As long as there's wet nappies and baby seems fine in themselves, don't worry. That's the advice I received from a doctor.
