vaccinations for children

Hi there,

I am currently writing my dissertation on the topic of vaccinations and reasons why people vaccinate or do not vaccinate their kids. Would anyone be interested in having a quick chat? It would be totally anonymous and I would share my research with you once I have finished my project x

I am vaccinating my baby because, why on earth would I not? I know all the fear mongering that goes on and it takes about 10 minutes reading reputable sources to find out what nonsense it is. But I would be interested to try and understand antivaxxers, hopefully if we can understand the problem we can nip it in the bud.

Plus I only have to look at my grandad's legs to see the horrors of a world without vaccines, he had polio when he was 2.

All 4 of my kids have their vaccines my youngest is 4month old. I do it because they are there for a reason to protect us and to protect the ones that can’t get them. For example we’re told to sterilize all babies bottles and soothers right? And that’s to protect them from germs so why wouldn’t ppl protect their children even more and vaccinate their babies

Pm me any questions you might have. My 14 month old gets her next lot on Wednesday. She’s having them all! Keeping her safe from preventable diseases is my priority as it’s easy to do. I’m very anti-anti-vacation

My 2 1/2 year old has had all vaccinations, I would never have considered not doing so. It protects him and with herd immunity protects those who genuinely cannot be vaccinated. I have been shocked by the misinformation spread by those anti vaccination. My mum had polio and lost a brother to it when they were children. I also have a friend who recently lost her son because of measles, her baby caught it when too young to be vaccinated himself!

It horrifies me that these preventable illnesses are affecting our children again, purely because of misinformation.

I am pretty sue it is against the law not to vaccinate children and not doing so could mean that your child becomes ill and could possibly die.
