Hi all. I have recently done embryo transplant abroad, as I was not eligible for nhs funding. Just wanted to know if nhs provides scans and tests after transplant.tya

Ivf treatment
Hi Peace
I am not in the same position as you but I am currently pregnant following IVF that I had here in the UK. When you have treatment here, that clinic offers an early viability scan but after that you are back with the NHS.
I would suggest that if you have had a positive pregnancy test then to contact your GP to arrange a midwife appointment. They will book you in for NHS scans the same as any conception.
Good luck

Hi, yes they do but only the regular 12 week and 20 week scans. You will have to book a private viability scan and pregnancy blood test if you need these. I had mine through my private consultant. NHS won’t usually see you until 10 weeks pregnant for a booking appointment and normal maternity blood tests.
In addition to what others have said already, depending on your age or if you have any additional health needs/conditions, you may be offered additional scans, for example, as I 40 yrs old when I conceived I was offered 2 extra scans.
You could also get a private scan at some point too, if needed/wanted.
Good luck with your pregnancy
Thanks all. It seems my ivf has not worked. 16 days embryo transfer. Negative home test. Due for beta hcg test after 3 days
