5 month old not babbling.

My little girl is five month old and makes no baby noises at all, only makes a cackle sound when she wants feeding or is annoyed. Anything I can do to help her along?

Its probably like anything they will do it when they are ready. Just keep chatting to her and she’ll get there. Plus I don’t remember my little girl making that much noise at that age xx

My son has been non stop chatting but only really since 6 months. I talk to him all the time. As Hydromermaid said, they do it when they are ready, all you can do is keep encouraging x

Did she have a hearing test at birth? Or does she turn around when a noise is made behind her? If her hearing seems fine then count yourself lucky as I have two screamers!

Yeah she did and all was ok. Yeah she’s always reacting to noises. Just not making any

Try not to worry, she probably just taking everything in and will start babbling soon enough xx

I wouldn't worry each baby devlopes at their own pace enjoy the quite while you can my little girl is 5 months and half months and she doesn't stop shouting now 🙈 once they figure out they have a voice you know about it. I worry all the time my little girl isn't developing at the right pace think as a parent your always worring about something xx

Try not to worry,your baby might be the gentle type. So far you have done all necessary things on her and tested OK, then don't worry you self. She doing her normal way.

Do you sing to her much? I always find some fun singing and dancing gets babies vocalising a lot, like they want to sing too.
