My 5 month old has recently developed a bit of eczema in the creases of his skin and has patches of very dry skin all over. Doctor gave me a cream which I could use for 7 days, which worked but now the 7 days are up it has come back again.
Anyone know a good moisturiser that can be used continuously for sensitive skin?
Thanks

Lush Dream Cream. It had been a massive game changer for us! It’s oat based. Most pharmacy ones are made from petroleum 👎🏻
It is expensive but you only need a tiny bit so will last for ages
Mine is nearly 3 and we haven’t had to use steroids since starting it 6 months ago.
Ale sure baths aren’t too hot and concussed only bathing twice a week to help. Pat dry skin creased, don’t rub. Make sure clothes are cotton
We had to keep going back to the doctors and eventually got referred to the dermatologist as it got so bad. We were finally given steroid for really bad flare ups and cream for everyday use called hydromol and that’s brilliant x
My little one had excema at about one/ two months old so I used ‘baby sensitive moisture cream’ from boots daily for £1.99 and sometimes I would use a little coconut oil. At the time gp prescribed junior oilatum for babies but after awhile they said their policy has changed and it is no longer available on prescription because there is no evidence that it helps excema. So I went to chemist and the pharmacist who had a baby with really severe excema recommended ‘mustela’ for very sensitive skin for babies to give a bath. It was £12.99 for 300 ml and was a white bottle with some red colour as there are many in the range. Hope your little one gets better soon.
