I am 21 wks now and since my first scan on 12wks it is being a struggle to see the baby. Last week we went for the 20wk scan and the baby was all curled up down in my pelvis with arms and legs crossed. Even after walk, jump, eat chocolate and try again..
Doid anyone have something similar? And does anyone have tips for baby to move position? We were rescheduled for next week and I really hope baby has moved by then but any help is welcomed!
Thanks

I’ve read about using a gym ball helps move them about and also being on all 4’s can help get them out of your pelvis. We had our 20 week scan and he was being awkward in my pelvis, I’ve been on the ball and doing the all 4’s and when we had our 28 week growth scan he was out of my pelvis and they could measure him better! Good luck! Xx
Thank you!!! What do you mean by gym ball? Those big ones? Do I just need to sit on it..? Xx
I will try the 4s
Our daughter was also awkward at scans too!!! Feel your frustration. I had to urinate, jump & eventually lying on my side they could check her organs & determine her gender (at the 20 weeks scan)The sonographer at our private 4D scan suggested to go to eat & have an ice cold drink that can help baby move. Hope this helps & you can find out the gender we were desperate to know after we knew baby was okay! xoxo
Oh mine is the same had few scans now (26weeks now) and each time we were unable to see baby face as he always covers his face with his hands. Really want to have a 4D scan but if he won’t show his face it will be pointless lol
On our 12 week scan baby was facing down and refused to budge so couldn't take measurements. When we had our private gender scan I was told to drink a full sugar fizzy drink about 10 minutes before and he was moving much more on this scan. Come to our 20 week scan and he was moving so much she had a hard time getting all the measurements, she did most of the scan with me on my side, I had fizzy pop again before that scan.
So for me fizzy pop really gets him moving however its something I never drink normally.
Yes mine always seems to be in awkward positions at scans, my 12 week she/he was face down...I had to stand up and jump. My 32 week was on Thursday and was hiding behind his/her arms , just one of those things. At my 20 week scan I had the placenta in the way so photos weren't too good but baby is healthy and normal so at least they can see what they are looking for when they do the scans. Going for a 36 week scan too so I expect to see even less as will be squished up.... all the best x
