He loves TV

My champ is 7weeks 4days old now. Recently he has developed an interest in watching TV for a while when the lightening from the TV catches his attention. Is there any harm in a baby his age watching TV?

Who knows but my lb always watches it when its on. As long as you dont perch him right infront of it for hours then there isnt much you can do apart from not have the tv on at all!

I wouldn't worry too much, don't leave him in front of it for hours but obvs a little won't hurt. When I need a shower and I pop mine in front of children's songs on YouTube and they love it. Keeps them calm and out of trouble! If he just likes the lights and sounds try the aquarium videos on YouTube (if you have it on your TV). Mine are 8 months and still love it

The world health organisation recommends no screens until two. I think it’s because they can get into the habit of watching it rather than moving around exercising their muscles.
