Hi all, so I am just over 8 weeks pregnant, suffered 2 previous MC. But this time HB was seen at 6+4 & 7+3, woke up sunday & my boobs are no longer sore also nausea seems to have subsided. I’m beside myself with worry, this happen to anyone else & all was ok?
8 weeks today: Hi all, so I am just... - Pregnancy and Par...
8 weeks today
Yes, i think it happens to most. My breasts where only sore for the first 6 or so weeks and only felt sick a couple of times the whole pregnancy x
No one tells you how scary it will be do they! Just clinging onto the fact the HB has been seen twice x
I was convinced of the same (no sore boobs, sickness subsided) and there was even a bit of bleeding. Went for an emergency scan and my baby was still there!
I also had previous mcs, was so anxious for the whole pregnancy and you’re right, nobody does tell you how anxiety ridden it can be.
Having gone through a very similar time, I would go to EPU and say about the loss of symptoms and ask for an extra scan. Just to reassure yourself or to ensure that (if the worst has happened) that you receive timely treatment. I say this from experience.
After 12 weeks the risk of miscarriage drops so significantly that (after that) I would try to find different, less time consuming and less distressing ways of managing your anxiety. Again, I say this from experience , as I had scans every two weeks (through the recurrent miscarriage centre) and I was constantly on pins. You feel better for a couple of days and then the worry comes back.

Hi! Congratulations on your pregnancy! I'm 19 weeks pregnant and when I was around 8 weeks I think I suddenly stopped having any symptoms. I had been feeling bloated and felt a lot of activity going on in my belly, and had sore breasts before and suddenly just nothing (well, you think it's nothing but there probably are other subtle symptoms). I also freaked out tbh but soon realised it's actually fairly common. Every pregnancy is different so it won't happen to everybody but don't worry, it doesn't mean anything. I had the same last week when I started to feel so normal, not pregnant at all that I even thought my bump was gradually getting smaller (ofc it wasn't! But our minds play tricks when we over worry). Symptoms might come and go throughout your pregnancy and it doesn't mean that something is wrong. But if at any time you're stressed out about anything don't hesitate to get it checked out for your own peace of mind. Good luck with everything (to you and to myself)
I had IVF and at 8 weeks at my first scan they warned me that my symptoms could start to disappear as your hormones level out. Doesn’t stop you worrying though!! Xx
Seems like alot of peoples do, think ill book another scan just to try chill myself out xxx
Just wishing you luck and a healthy pregnancy I know how scary this is, I’ve had 3 mc @ 12/13w the anxiety after multiple mc is awful.
Same here! All my morning sickness and everything stopped suddenly overnight at about 8/9 weeks. Absolutely terrifying. But he's perfectly fine 😊
But if you need another scan for reassurance, go for it! You can never see your baby enough! X
Good luck!❤❤
You’re right, no one tells you how much you’ll worry!
If it helps at all, a sonographer told me the placenta kicks in at 8/9 weeks which means the amount of hormones flying around levels out a bit. That might explain the reduction in symptoms x
Just to update you all, I went for another early scan. All is fine & measuring 3 days ahead xx
I'll just add another experience where my symptoms really dropped off, was about 9 weeks for me and totally caused me to panic. I'm still exhausted and starving though so have managed to reassure myself a bit, just impatiently waiting for my 12 week scan now!
I have had that experience in those earlier weeks of week 6-9 where one day I feel totally fine. (U might probably feel sick at nighttime) No worries... But once i hit 10-13 weeks.... Everyday had been nauseous pretty much...
