my lb is 10 weeks old.... he sleeps from 9/10 pm till half 4/5 my husband thinks I should wake him up for a feed but I dont.... surly if he is hungry he would wake up his self.... just not sure whever I should or not. He is putting weight on fine with no problems at all xx
would you wake you baby up through th night for a feed. just looking for advice xx
I wouldn’t wake either, if he’s putting on weight he’s doing what all babies do naturally and go longer between feeds at night, some just do it faster than others 😊 x
My 5 month old daughter woke at 4am this morning (wasn’t unhappy just awake and noisy!) and my husband said she needed feeding.......she didn’t (because of her milk intolerance and being onto her 3rd prescription milk I keep track of volumes so I knew for definate she didn’t 😂) I’m the one with feeding anxiety in my house x
im like that with my boy I get feeding anxiety i have to make sure I make his bottles half hour before he is due as he got to have drops in his milk as he lactose intolerance I get so anxious if i done it at right time ect x
It’s hard isn’t it. Mine need to be made absolutely fresh as I put thickener in hers and if they sit for more than 10-15mins they go like porridge and there is no way that’s coming out of a teat 🙈 I’m hoping as she grows up this will all become a lot easier and we’ll forget how hard and anxious this all was! x
If baby is putting on weight well then deffo no need to wake 😊 enjoy a great nights sleep! My boy is 8months old now & id kill for him to sleep those hours 😂 we barely get to midnight before he's awake again x
my boy been sleeping through the night since he was 4 weeks old.... before that he had me up every hour and that was due to him being lactose intolerance he wasn't digesting his milk so he was so hungry but now he on his drops he sleeps. your get a good night sleep soon xx
My little boy is 12 weeks and for the last week has been sleeping 9pm till about 7/8am. He taking 5 bottles during the day of between 5-8oz which is what he should be. Dont wake him just enjoy!
I wouldn’t wake him either does he go back to sleep at 4/5am?
Hello. I have a 13 week old baby and she sleeps from 1/2am and wakes up at 8/9am. I give her last feed at about 12.30 or 1am and I dont wake her up during the night. Your right if baby is hungry they will wake up on their own demanding a feed. I let her sleep and I get an good nights rest too. As long as baby is happy, putting weight on then you dont need to wake them up every 4 hours
