Sisters please help me out here. So baby is 6 weeks (boy) and we feed him every 3 hours but sometimes 2 hours as per when he is hungry. His feed per bottle is 60ml (aptamil) and sometimes we add 20 to 30ml. The problem is it takes him a very long time to burp and it distresses his sleep... And also his hands N legs reflex doesn't let him have a peaceful rest... He quite a strong boy though...
Any help ps please....

Our little girl is 8days old and doesn’t burp much after feeding. I’m exclusively expressing, with a formula at night time. She can feed from 2-3 hours or 3-4 hours, 4ozs-5ozs 3-4 hours and then when it’s 2-3 hours about 2-3ozs. But doesn’t burp that much, farts a far bit though.
I remember the pain of trying to get the baby to burp after a night feed, being so desperate to get back into bed!
Have you tried walking around to burp the baby? My baby burped a bit quicker if I stood up to do it, as his body was more stretched out.
Or try holding baby in different positions to burp. Hand under the chin/over your shoulder?
When my son was older we would give him gripe water. I think it's suitable after 4 weeks, but please check before buying. It was amazing. It brought his burp up immediately and he would sleep a lot more soundly after as he was more comfortable.
