Aspirin

Has anyone been told to take aspirin during there pregnancy due to last pregnancy having preeclampsia? I’m now confused my box says take two but reading up it says take one 75mg. I have been taking two since Wednesday.

I took it this round, due to age and one anomalous blood test. The clinic said it was up to me.

When I booked in with the midwife (as this round has been a success), she asked if i was. Basically due to my age (42) they get people on it when pregnant. I guess it's because there is s higher chance of pre-eclampsia etc.

But my dose is 1x 75mg per day.

We are all different so I would definitely check with the clinic about what dose you are supposed to be on. X

I take 1x 75mg a day, I’d double check the dosage with your doctor or midwife just to be on the safe side x

I’ve been taking 1 x 75mg since CD1 and am currently 28 weeks pregnant. I would check with your midwife as everyone is told to take it for different reasons x

75 mg is what I take daily. I don’t think you’re supposed to have more than that during pregnancy.

I had to take it but it was just one 75mg a day. Take whatever your personal printed sticker on the box says (the one the pharmacy stick on) as this will be what your dr has directed.

I take 1x75mg a day. There may be a clinical reason for you to take two, but I would speak to the midwife ASAP as mistakes can be made on prescriptions.

Currently waiting on a call back as my repeat prescription said take 1 x 75 mg a day

I've had to take it this time round due to having eclampsia with my first born. I'm on one a day 75mg x

I was told to take aspirin but then they looked at my notes and realised I'm allergic to aspirin so cant take it...I'm just on folic acid and vitamin d every day...I'm coming up for 22 weeks x

I was put in 1 a day during my ivf cycle and told to continue throughout pregnancy as I have lupus so I'm a higher risk of pre eclampsia xx

Finally sorted I’m on 2 x 75 mg a day. Feel relived as I had been taking two till my husband questioned then my repeat said one but all sorted now. I haven’t been overdosing.
