Has anyone been through the following and found out everything was ok and baby healthy.
I had my 12 week scan Wednesday 6th they found some fluid around the babies neck so referred me to a different team (can’t remember the name) anyway this scan has revealed the fluid is in two sacks either side so the specialist suggested a cvs in which I agreed
I’m 13 + 6 days and dreading Wednesday as that is when I get the results. I just want even a little bit of hope the baby is ok. Everything else on the baby was fine no issues.
Just hoping sounds awful to say this but someone else has been through this. I’m 32

I've been there, everything was normal. I'm sure your results will be fine. The testing is reassuring, most common reason for high nuchal is "just because it is".
Yes, we had a high nuchal translucancy of 7mm! They didn't even bother with risk assessing me as it was bound to come back high! Just went straight to the other options. I opted for CVS as I didn't want to wait and worry the extra few weeks till we could do amnio.
Ok thankyou. We were told the measurement was normal but the fluid they could see was either side of the neck. So they advised to have the cvs and I agreed. It’s just the waiting game now. Can I ask how old you are please. And everything came back normal from the results? Sorry for all the questions
