I had poly and had all the tests to determine the cause - which all came back clear. Surprisingly, my bump never seemed too big or felt like there was too much fluid. The positives are you get extra scans!

I was induced at 39 weeks as there are risks if you go in to labour or if your waters break outside of hospital. My labour wasn't what I hoped for - but I could feel the extra fluid by then!

Apart from my labour experience, I didn't have any issues so I hope you still get to enjoy the rest of your pregnancy without being too worried x

Thank you for your reply SophieB90 do you know how high your fluid was? They said that mine is 21.3cm but everywhere I’ve looked it says that it’s not Polyhydramnios until it’s 25cm or over and I was actually referred for the scan because I was measuring 2 weeks behind. They have now estimated that my baby is weighing around 5lb 15oz I will be 37 weeks on Sunday so I wouldn’t think that is a bad weight considering my daughter was born at 41+6 weighing 7lb 1oz so not much more so it doesn’t make any sense from what I have seen that others have said of their experience.

I was told today that I need a scan because I’m measuring a few weeks ahead but on google there was something about low fluid but I forget what it was called
