5 weeks pregnant - I’m absolutely shattered!

Is this normal? I feel like I’ve had all the energy zapped out of me. Any tips or advice other than sleep sleep and more sleep??

Totally normal to feel more tired, I’d say just try and sleep as much as you can when you can there’s not much else you can do for the tiredness x

Agreed, you just have to go with what your body is telling you that you need to do.

Hopefully you will get through this phase pretty quickly xx

Hi lex, congratulations.

I'm 8 weeks now , my pregnancy started with tiredness and feeling sleepy😴 all the time like I'm carrying a truck on my shoulders and I'm still having the same thing maybe one day or two a week that I can do some housework or go for walk.

Just listen to your body as I watched a video where the doctor said if the pregnant feels sleepy she should sleep because her body definitely needs it and added that the baby in early pregnancy grows on sleep not food. So, I sleep whenever my body gives the command lol.

Woo! Congrats! I felt exactly the same. I spent a lot of time on the sofa zonked and I was able to nap for the first time ever, especially before evenings out (only managed to go to things I had to be at though!). By about 9/10 weeks I was feeling much more normal, although still very tired before bed! x

When I was at the beginning of my last pregnancy and felt really tired the dr put me on pregnancy multi vitamins which actually really helped with my tiredness
