Omega 3 during pregnancy

Hello! I wondered if you could help me. I usually take Pregnacare with the additional Omega 3. Recently I bought the basic Pregnacare with no Omega 3. I need to buy omega 3 separately. In the Pregnacare packets, the dosage is 600mg at the chemist the dosage of Omega3 is 1000mg. As that too much for pregnancy or ok? Thanks

I take it separately as I had been taking before pregnancy so using up the bottle.
