Hi all my 14 months little angel teeth came out late. She has the 2 lower and upper teeth. Had a bit of an issue but nothing like this now. Baby doesn’t want to eat not even breastmilk, had to pump cause she wasn’t latching only wants to bite them. And doesn’t want to drink it either.

Not interested in yogurt, vegs or food. She has a bit of water from time to time.... bonjela and calpol don’t seem to work crying for hours none stop then sleeping.... doesn’t have fever and also not interested in her chewing toys quite frankly don’t know what to do. Going over the walls

Anyone has any advice...

There's a product called Teetha that I recently came across. Absolute life saver. After so many sleepless nights! My baby slept so soundly we kept on checking him. I found it at lloyds but I. Imagine most chemists will have it.

Try and get.your LO to drink a bit of water and try softs foods like yoghurt.

Good luck!

Aslong as she's keeping her fluids up with milk and water try not to worry to much about food. Maybe yogurt or jelly would be nice also I find abnesol liquid or gel is a massive help from over the counter at a pharmacy. Xx

Thanks.

Problem is she is not interested in having milk, yogurt or anythjng hopefully they will erupt soon so she smell stop suffering.

My sister suggested to give her some apples to chew but again she is not having it. Will see if I can buy the products tomorrow.

Hey, honestly hun I really wouldn’t worry about it, if your that concerned I’d contact your health visitor or gp, I’d try mix in some vitamins into what they’re drinking or eating though if they not having their milk and food as they won’t be having enough vitamins.

My little one been up all nights and I agree with the first comment, that teetha are teething granules, you tip a sachet in their mouth every 3 hours and it works wonders through experience! If it’s really bad we use bonjella and cal pol along side also and seems to work!

Fingers crossed for you hun! X

Thanks Hun,

She starting today having breastmilk, tried to give her some yogurt in the morning but only had 3 spoons. Last night didn’t give her any calpol as she seemed to be dealing with the pain ok... now her favourite chewing toy is my left shoulder only wants to be standing up and chewing away. If I tried to switch her to the other side she will start crying and won’t stop until I place her back to my left side.

Also I give her vitamins every day (first start) I was considering in buying her some as she is not interested in eating.

Are you sure it's because she's teething Hun? Just with you saying she's not interested in her chew toys.

Our little lad started cutting at 6 months and now how his bottom 2 teeth. He forever had his hand in his mouth or shoving his toys in. Calpol and teething power eases it for our boy but not totally x

Hey darling,

Yes is teething as she is biting my left shoulder constantly. To be honest she has never been much into chewing toys. I bought a wide array of them but what she likes is biting me. She actually plays with not chew her toys.

She seems better today as she drunk some milk last night and this morning, not her usual quantity but I guess is an improvement. Will check how is it tomorrow and is the same or worst I will take her to the GP (hate it to waste their time is it’s not urgent but at the same time don’t want anything to happen to my little one.

Aww bless her! It's awful isn't it!

We tried everything but still nothing works. Asked health visitors n doctors but said there's nothing else we can do just have to try and ease it with Calpol.

You're not wasting their time Hun. Glad she's has something to drink! How is she today?

Much better, now she found some crisps she likes and some teething biscuits. Not interested in her greens anymore. Hope is just a face 😂.

Also I noticed that she goes off food if she doesn’t poop.

She got 2 upper and 2 lower teeth erupting at the same time. No wonder she wants eating.

Thanks for your concern
