Hello so I just found out I’m pregnant and I’d really like to wean my 15month old from nursing and bedsharing. Any advice how to transition her to bed and no more night time feedings

Congratulations! Is your toddler still waking frequently for feeds? Most women find their milk dries up during pregnancy at around week 16, and then at week 20 your body will start producing colostrum ready for the new arrival. Your toddler may self wean because of this.
In the mean time, it is easier to wean during the day before cutting off at night, making sure they are having regular meals and snacks, and basically distracting them into forgetting to nurse. The general rule my IBCLC goes by is, dont offer, dont refuse. So unless your toddler is directly asking for it, dont offer.
You will probably find that your toddler becomes more of an independant sleeper the less boob they have, as they will be relying on you less for comfort.
Congratulations on your pregnancy. Was in the same situation as you, had a16 month old and preg. Started by reducing daytime feeds and then went cold turkey for the night.
I found that he reduced waking at night when the feeds stopped.
When she starts sleeping through the night, move her to another room if you can. I made that mistake and then mine started waking again and asking for milk when baby came (made for a hellish first few months). Hopefully you'll have a better time than me.
Hope this helps. Cheers
