Help/support on sweep's

I had a sweep on Monday on my due date.

Midewife said my cervix was open and softening. Baby wasn't engaged although with her pushing down she could feel her head. She has it slightly turned and the midwife could feel her ear. Because of this she wasn't sure how well the sweep worked.

I'm booked in for another one Monday coming. I'm just getting to the point where I'm fed up. This heat is tiring I don't even have to do anything and I'm sweating buckets. I've had false labour starts for the last 1 week and 3 days. Not sleeping probably. Peeing at least 10 times a night.

I don't want to be induced if can help of it. But I'm more than ready physically and mentally to get this baby out.

Hi babe , I had sweeps with my last child who is now 4 she just didn’t want to come out and she was engaged and I was 2-3cm but I ended up being induced on day 15 and she was born within 5 hours.

My eldest daughter wasn’t engaged until I went into labour babe so it always depends. If you have a bounce ball I would try and bounce on there and drink some raspberry leaf tea if you have some. Obviously if your up for some sexy time that will help too.

I pregnant with baby number 4 and only 4 and half months pregnant and this weather is killing me so I feel your pain ! I hope baby has moved down abit more for you by Monday! The last sound it was good though soft cervix and touching baby’s ear ! I wish you the best xx
