Hi ladies. I’m 37 and finally pregnant with my 2nd child. My little girl is 5 already. After years of trying I went to the GP and was referred to fertility services, appointment in 2 weeks but found out I was pregnlast week! Only 5 weeks along but had a missed miscarriage before I had my girl. So obviously very nervous ☹️

Welcome to the board and a huge congratulations to you !

It’s amazing how things happen as you’ve became pregnant before the appointment naturally!

I had a missed miscarriage last year with twins lovely and it was heartbreaking found out at scan 13 weeks , I am expecting again now but so nervous but happy but also scared to bond ! My scan is next Friday so I’ve been keeping my brain busy as much as I can as i want to enjoy my pregnancy but just so nervous! I am 35 and I have 3 daughters 15, 13 and 4 years old and my sleeping angels 👼 that will never be forgotten!

Just take each day as it comes and don’t over do it take your vitamins and look after yourself. All the best xxx

Hi Sisi14. I’m so sorry to hear about your MMC. I’d had brown bleeding for weeks and my symptoms disappeared. Eventually they sent me for a scan at about 11 weeks and I found out the same as you. I think baby hadn’t gone past 6 weeks...... in my head that’s the milestone I need to pass now. Let us know how your scan goes! X

Yes it was a big shocker as I had no bleeding or pains but still sore boobs so when I had scan not only did I find out it was two but they both were sleeping at 7.5 weeks so I’m keeping everything crazy for next week. I told my partner I will keep my eyes close til he squeezes my hand to say all is ok and well. I will let you know lovely as I know my baby angels weren’t ready to come in to this world but I’m hoping this little one is as he or she is most wanted and it will be my last baby ! Xx

Hi im in a pretty similar position im 38 I've 2 kids, I mc my last at 12 weeks stopped growing at 6w, gp referred to fertility clinic but got pregnant before the app im 7 weeks and im also nervous just waiting for the scan.

Hi gcw104, I’m sorry to hear about your MMC as well. It’s hard to be excited when you’ve had heartbreak before isn’t it.

I’ll be 6w on Mon but I haven’t told GP or midwife yet. Feel like it’s tempting fate, I know that sounds stupid. When did you tell yours? Have u got a scan date yet? X

I rang mw at 5w to get booking in app thinking I could get an early scan but no only if you’ve had 3 mc so I have my app on tues I’ll be 8w. I went to the early pregnancy talk at 8w last time and didn’t see the mw til 11w mc the week after 😕 thought I go earlier this time.
