Hello ladies,

what do you recommend for washing newborn clothes? At a reasonable price of course

Hiya! For the whites I use a mix of Napisan and Fairy non bio. If the whites are really stained then I soak them in napisan in the sink first and then transfer them to the washing machine. X

Hey any non bio detergent should do the trick personally I use the Aldi tablets no problems

Personally been using the mix of Persil non bio and fairy conditioner.. conditioners smelt so good to me i couldve eaten it lol!

I use Aldi washing powder which is suitable for babies and then an antibacterial laundry cleanser from Wilko instead of fabric conditioner. It is supposed to get rid of bugs, germs etc at low washing temperatures.

Any non bio should do ... sadly you don't know if they'll have a reaction u less you try it. I use fairy non bio and comfort conditioner ... sadly I tried the Aldi one and my daughter reacted to it but that's only because she has eczema. Most babies will be fine with whichever!

Ironically enough my.eldest had reactions to non bio but not bio. He had bad eczema as a small child now is 8 and doesn't have it now but his baby brother has always just used same wash powder as us and has never had a problem and he's now 14 months old
