Bit embarrassing... but curious.

It's a little embarrassing, although I know it happens to a lot of people. I'm TTC however have just finished my period. I came off my period on Saturday/Sunday. Since then, every day I have had a sort of brownish coloured discharge every time I go to the toilet and wipe, but only when I wipe myself. It isn't heavy or thick, but today and last night, I am experiencing lower backache. I'm an anxious person anyway, but is there something wrong, or anything to be concerned about?

Also, I take folic acid to help with TTC but any other thing I could take that could enhance my chances?

Thanks :)

Have you got endometriosis? That's quite common to have discharge before and after your period. You can also take a vit d supplement and get some conceive multivitamins. Have a good diet avoid caffeine and stop smoking if you do. Good luck 💗🤗😘

Not that I'm aware of, I don't think I do. I take folic acid, what else could I take? And thank you 😘💖

Try downloading an app where you can track your period and ovulation times. I had one called Flo. I could enter info about when we had unprotected sex and it told me when my highest ovulation times were and enter when you had your period. It was quite good really! The brown discharge could just be old blood. If it persists though, I'd call your doctor just to make sure x

I do I have two apps haha, Ovia and another's just called P.C. They're both really good but only just started Ovia so it needs data over next few months to give accurate information etc, I should be ovulating round about now but I'm not sure if I would be because of what's going on now... I'm so confused it's unreal 😂 That's what it looks like old blood but only when I wipe. I usually have this coming to the end of my period which I did. Then I stopped and a day after I've had this again for the last few days it's stressing me out!x

That sounds like it could be implantation bleeding or spotting. When we were TTC I read a lot about it but never experienced it myself. How you taken a test? Xx

I've read about it too and I'm just unsure whether it could be, seems as I only had my period 12th Feb til 17th, since then I've been what I think it spotting, because since I posted this post I've had bright red blood too only when I wipe though. So I'm just confused. I haven't taken a test, I think it's too early to take a test?xx

Maybe it is a good idea to wait a while then. TTC can do crazy things to your cycle. I was always regular and as soon as we started trying I’d have periods for a few days longer and was often late. It felt to me like my body was preparing for something xxx

I have an app called Ovia and it says after ovulation if you've TTC during ovulation then to wait to test at least 10 days after ovulation as the levels won't be high enough to detect but feels like a life time to wait plus get proper disappointed when it's negative. Yeah it sounds like your body was definitely preparing itself!xxx

I used ovia and an app called glow which was really good. I got a bit app obsessed and had a few on the go lol xxx

I feel like that now! I have Ovia, and one called P.C, but have had others on the go too! ttc is mental haha xxx

Have you recently come off the contraceptive pill? If so, it may just be your body settling back into a normal rhythm. Most people ovulate about 14 days after the start if their last period so it sounds like your bleeding is too early to be implementation bleeding. Its most likely to be yiur body getting used to having a period without being controlled by contraceptives.

I stopped taking cerelle pill end of October/beginning of November but my periods have been normal recently the last 2/3 months they've been normal, it was only November when my period came and then a week later another one came, since then they've been regular, 23 day cycle, so I'm not sure?x
