18 weeks pregnant and constipated

It’s been two weeks been to GP gave me medication to take I did it only helped me for a day now back again unable to open my bowel feeling so and this is might be the reason I am vomiting even. Please guys advice me what I can eat or did anyone else experienced same thing. I am really getting tired of all this got even cough been GP they said it’s viral not to worry

Drink loads of water. It’s really miserable being constipated. I’d go back to dr.

Yh I am have been drinking yup I went back same thing drink enough eat this and that but I think it will take time but it is really horrible thing to go through

It really is, I had it all way through my first pregnancy and following birth too

Oh bless it started with me last 2 weeks before was fine sometimes folic acid doesn’t help

Yeah I agree the antenatal vits don’t help. Hope you get it sorted hun

Hello!It happen to me when i was pregnant and developed hemorrhoids.I've tried fybogel but didn't help and went to doctors again and he prescribed me lactulose syrup and helped.Try it.Take 15 ml in the morning and in the evening,iit has measuring cap and taste sweet.I know it is horrible feeling.I know what you are being through .Hope it helps x

Yup got lactose taking 2 daily it helped for a than now hope it does work

also drink water and eat beans,drink orange juice.I developed hemorroids because i was constipated

Linseeds/flaxseeds, high fibre bran, prune/prune juice, fruit and try exercise if you can - these things helped me when I suffered. Good luck x

Plenty water to drink and lots fruit and vegetables brown bread fresh orange and try not get stressed about it

Grind oats and drink them dissolved in water.

Get Psyllium husks (not psyllium tablets) dissolve in water and drink it down. You can add juice or a smoothie.

Btw smoothies made of banana, chia seeds, kiwi, oats and teff flour as well as pure low fat cocoa powder are going to do the trick. 👍
