Pregnancy Rash

Hi all, I am 16 weekend pregnant and at about 13 weeks I started to develop a rash. The rash is I two kind of halves. I have had treatment for a candidiasis infection under by boobs, and on my nipples and that is starting to clear (after 3 weeks of timodene cream)

The other rash is small red/ pink dots that when quiet are hardly visible, but several time a day and night, the rash flares up. It becomes insanely itchy, hot and lumpy.

Anyone experienced similar? And ideas to ask the doctor to help beat it?

Could it be PPUP? Is this your first pregnancy? Check some videos on youtube about itching in pregnancy.

I hope not but check it out that it is nothing to do with Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy.

Yes, first pregnancy. I’ll chase up with the midwife tomorrow if I should have any checks done ✅

Hi, I had this too at about 13 weeks and was just my immune system adjusting to being the pregnant. After about 10 days it went, I did go to the doctor and get some steroid cream for when the itching was unbearable.

The doctor says you would / tend to only get PPUP at about 30ish weeks so later pregnancy

Oh really.... and there’s me convincing myself I’m having a boy because I thought it might be ppup

It isn't rare to start earlier. Also only 60 or 70% of those pregnancies are boys and the rest are girls. Check out youtube videos of those mums.
