5 month old gone off his milk

My boy is 5 months next wk and has been taking 6-7 ozs 3 hourly. The last 2 days he's hardly drinking 3oz 3 hourly, brings a fair bit up too that he didn't do before. He pooped twice yesterday 12 hrs apart, it was so watery and green, thought it was a bug, but as it was 12 hrs apart not sure if it is a bug. He's been on cow and gate no 1 since week 1. Could he need a milk change? Is it related to teething or maybe just a small bug? Any advice much appreciated. Thanks

It might just be a lot of milk for one day? A way to calculate how much formula a baby should be having is 2.5 oz for every pound they weigh per day. My baby has severe reflux so we had to follow this quite strictly. A 7oz feed with 8 feeds [every three hours) totals 56 oz of milk which would be ideal for a 22lb baby. All babies are obviously different but it might give you a good guide? Hope that helps x

Thanks for the reply, he's 19lbs, has been a very hungry baby since birth. He has 6 feeds from 5-6am to 9.30pm and sleeps through. Sods law he's improved this morning since writing this post. May have been a little bug, may have been the cold he's had too, they keep you guessing. Thanks for the info x
