What do you mean by fluid there is supposed to be fluid around the baby it's the amniotic fluid unless they meant a different fluid can you elaborate?

Fluid is normal but depends were it is. Did they say they worried about this, maybe fluid behind the neck? Are you being seen again my midwife? Might be worth asking her to explain the scan results

If you're diagnosed with polyhydramnios, your health care provider will carefully monitor your pregnancy to help prevent complications. Treatment depends on the severity of the condition. Mild polyhydramnios may go away on its own. Severe polyhydramnios may require treatment, such as draining the excess amniotic fluid.
